How do I book a tournament at Kona Country Club?
Group bookings are coordinated by our Pro Shop Manager, Peggy Ciriako. Call her direct line at 808-324-2722 or email: peggy@konagolf.com.
Do you still host the LPGA Takefuji Classic?
The Kona Country Club was pleased to host the Takefuji LPGA Tour Event during
the years of 2000 and 2001. At this time, the club no longer hosts the tournament.
What are the differences between your two courses?
While both courses feature quality turf conditions, they do offer very different
playing conditions. Our Ocean Course (rated four stars by Golf Digest) is set
on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, and offers a spectacular setting of lush, wide
fairways, swaying palm trees, jagged lava rocks, and the sparkling Pacific at
your feet. Our Mountain Course (rated four and a half stars by Golf Digest),
has a cool Mountain setting that overlooks the ocean and offers a more challenging
terrain. Ancient Hawaiian rock slides run through its center.
Do you have any restaurant or banquet facilities?
Our Vista Restaurant is currently
serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and can host banquet parties. The Vista is
the ideal location to host any gathering as it offers unparalleled sunset views
of scenic Keauhou Bay (birthplace of King Kamehameha III).
What type of food does your restaurant serve?
Breakfast and lunch menus at the Vista feature more American and some local Hawaiian
cuisine. We've been told we offer the best breakfasts in town, and best of all,
you can order breakfast with us until 3:00 pm. Click here to see Vista
Restaurant information.
What kind of practice facilities do you have?
We have a driving range, chipping and putting greens, practice bunkers and locker rooms.
Do you have rental clubs?
Yes we do, for both men and women, with both right and left handed sets.
